Located 14 miles south of Streeter and 17 miles east of Napoleon in beautiful North Dakota, Becker Horse Ranch is dedicated to providing quality training services. Run by myself, Brittany Becker, I keep the number of horses I train small so I can provide quality time to each and every one. Whether you need your horse broke to ride, trained for barrel racing, worked on cattle, trained for pole bending, or just need some miles put on them, I offer a variety of training options that are sure to fit your needs. I also offer riding lessons to young or old riders who would like to learn how to ride a horse the proper way or how to ride for specialized events such as barrel racing or reining.      For basic training to break a horse to ride, I charge $450 per horse per month. That figure includes boarding, feeding, riding, training, and general care.  For furthur details, ask for a copy of the contract. For specialized training such as barrel racing, pole bending, or cattle work, please contact me for an estimate depending on what you want accomplished with your horse.

     For riding lessons, I charge $20 per lesson using our horses or $15 using your own horse. Each lesson will consist of at least a half an hour of learning how to properly handle a horse such as leading, saddling, handling feet, etc. I'll also teach the in's and out's of owning a horse such as general care, nutritional needs, and common illnesses. Then there will be at least an hour of actual riding. I have a very flexible schedule; we can plan the lessons as frequent as you would like and at the time that works best for you. If you are looking for specialized instruction such as barrel racing or working cattle, we can come up with a plan to fit your needs.
